The unexplained.....

Why is it we that we are intrigued by the unknown? Why is that we pour hundreds of hours and dollars in to trying to solve histories greatest mysteries? Is it because we can't stand not knowing or is it because we can't handle the cliff hanger? Do we desire to always know the answers, or crave solutions? Have your ever lost sleep trying to figure a problem out? Why does Hollywood spend millions of dollars creating movies about unsolved historical mysteries? Although it drives us mad at times, it has also driven some of us to greatness and driven us to many advances in society. It's also believed that some use the unknown as a way to escape reality. A way to leave your everyday life and fuels us to push the limits of our imagination, the way adrenaline junkies push the limits. Simply put, it's because we are human, we push the limits of our imagination to answer on simple question....WHY? Take for example the Lost Colony of Roanoke. What did happen to the colony? Why would of they just left with no explanation or left some sort of clues to where or why they left? Where they set up to fail, or just bad timing? The questions are endless, but we will never have a concrete answer yet millions of dollars and hundreds of hours are spent trying to understand...WHY? Something for you, what do you think happened to the colony? Assimilation with the natives? Left for Croatoan? Or simple starvation? Or do you have a theory of your own?...endless possibilities!
